A decade of Mindmasked

On our tin anniversary, we are embarking on an Epic “Journey around the World ” in association with The Road Ventures which has offered us an opportunity to travel across 3 Continents for research purposes.

Coming together we have the opportunity to study:

  • The psychological factors which influence why people travel, and how travel can impact people’s lives include increased tourism, cross-cultural exchange, and regional connectivity.
  • How travel can benefit people’s mental health with deeper insight to explore how cultural, geographical, and environmental factors influence human cognition, emotional processing, and social behavior by studying diverse populations across 20+ countries during an overland journey.

Overland Journey from Pakistan:

“Cultural and Environmental Influences on Human Mind, Philosophy of Cognition and Emotional Processing Across Diverse Societies and Family Structures”

Research Objective:

To explore how cultural, geographical, and environmental factors influence human cognition, emotional processing, and social behavior by studying diverse populations across 20+ countries during a land-based journey.

Key Research Questions:

  1. How do cultural norms and traditions shape cognitive processes such as decision-making, problem-solving, and memory?
  2. What role do environmental factors (e.g., climate, urban vs. rural settings) play in influencing emotional regulation and stress management?
  3. How does prolonged exposure to different cultural environments impact the researcher’s own cognitive and emotional processes (autoethnography)?
  4. Are there universal patterns in human thought and emotion, or do they vary significantly across cultural and geographical contexts?
  5. How do cultural norms in each country shape cognitive processes such as perception, attention, and problem-solving?
  6. What are the differences in emotional expression and regulation between individuals from joint family systems compared to those from nuclear families?
  7. In what ways does continuous travel across diverse cultural landscapes influence the traveler’s own cognitive and emotional processes?

  2. WOW!
    Thank you for sharing this.
This is a mistake that I repeat over and over again a cycle that my mind loves to play.
I am blessed to have mentor to guide me and to be brought into the system, but my mind takes me back to why, how and the worldly question of analytical thinking everything which leads to AGFLP.
I tell my mind I leave it, but again I trap myself.
Thank you for sharing this as I to do make this promise to leave the mind behind and follow the music of the light!
WOW!!! Thank You Allah sub an what Allah!

  4. Good write I will bookmark this page, great work. But on an intellectual and philosophical level I find your writing extremely shallow. As you have accepted the truth you think is true as the ultimate truth without really contemplating about the intricacies of human life and societies. You have tried to create a separate debate by overlapping notions of beliefs and morals.

    1. Sir, so clarify what shallowness are you referring to?
Thank You for your comments, but i would suggest that before judging the shallowness of words, do try reading the “meaning” article.
